Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility

Our recent office fit out for the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) presented a unique set of spatial challenges. The office footprint was compact, and the layout included irregularly shaped rooms with columns protruding from the walls, creating nooks and awkward corners that limited usable space. Despite these constraints, our team successfully delivered a functional and efficient workspace that met the client’s requirements in full.

Through careful spatial planning and design, we achieved the required number of sit-stand workstations within the allocated area while maintaining appropriate user space and ergonomic flow. The project was delivered on time and on budget, reflecting our commitment to efficient project management and client satisfaction.

To enhance comfort and acoustic performance in the close quarters, we designed and installed custom acoustic screening, tailored to the client’s colour scheme and aesthetic preferences. Beyond the workstations, we also supplied and installed a large boardroom table and chairs, created individual quiet workspaces, and provided a lunch bench and small waiting area to support different modes of work and interaction.

Soft wiring was integrated throughout to ensure efficient power distribution and future flexibility. In close collaboration with NAIF,
we also incorporated selected existing furniture pieces, achieving a cohesive look while remaining conscious of budget considerations.
