The goods paid partially remain the property of Jape Furnishing Superstore until the total amount of the invoice is paid in full.
Special Customer Order Terms:
• All Special Orders will take approximately 8 – 10 weeks and we will make every endeavour to deliver within this time.
• Orders for La Z Boy products may take up to 24 weeks if stock is not available in Australia.
• We take no responsibility for delays due to manufacturers’ shortage of materials, delay in transit, and some other cases which are beyond our control.
• 20% of total invoice is required prior to ordering.
• Full payment is required on arrival.
• Custom made items require 100% full payment prior to ordering. Eg. Caravan/Boat Mattresses.
• Deposit is forfeited if customer orders are cancelled.
Lay-by Terms:
• Maximum of 4 weeks from date of purchase.
• Minimum deposit is 20% of total purchase.
• The deposit is forfeited on sale items not finalised within 4 weeks.
Delivery:
• Jape Furnishing Superstore takes no responsibility for goods once they leave the direct control of this company. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that if goods are being transported by another carrier or privately, that insurance is undertaken.
• Our delivery team will finalise loading goods for delivery up to 48 hours prior to delivery date, if a delivery date needs to be rescheduled and the goods have already been loaded there will be a delivery rescheduling fee to be paid at time of rescheduling.
• Jape Furnishing Superstore offers a text message on the morning of day of delivery and a courtesy phone call 30 minutes prior to delivery to our customers to ensure someone will be on the premises to receive the delivery. If we are unable to deliver due to no response from the customer, the delivery will have to be rescheduled and another full delivery fee will apply.
Exchanges and refunds:
• It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their chosen items will fit into the intended area, including doorways, stairwells and lifts.
• All return and exchange queries will be reviewed based on proof of purchase and the condition of the item. Items must generally be returned in a condition that allows for resale unless they are faulty or do not comply with the original description. This policy does not limit customer rights under Australian Consumer Law.
• For health and hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns or process exchanges on items that cannot be resold once unwrapped or used, such as bedsheets, mattresses, mattress protectors, and pillows, unless the product is faulty.
Warranty:
• Our products are covered by warranties of varying durations depending on the manufacturer and product type. Warranty periods and conditions are specified at the time of purchase and may differ for each item. These warranties are provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
